Financial support from Approach 580 SIA is helping North Mersey Business Centre (NMBC) to meet the demand for more managed workspace from local SMEs.

NMBC has more than 120 office and workshop units which it rents out to starter and expanding businesses who employ over 500 people.

Phase six of its development, the new 22,500 sq m Earl of Derby Complex, opened recently and work is under way on phase seven, the new Knowsley Youth Enterprise Academy which is designed to equip young people with the skills to set up their own businesses and provide 'incubator' accommodation.
