Merseytram

The Approach 580 SIA will be served by the Line 1 route of the new Merseytram, a modern tramway system similar to those operating in many parts of Europe.

Up to 300 new jobs could be created at Merseytram's new operations and maintenance centre at Stonebridge Business Park.

A new park and ride site will also be created near to the M57 motorway junction to enable people to park their cars safely and use Merseytram to travel to the city centre and other locations.
