Creating opportunities for local people

The improvement projects within the Approach 580 SIA will make the area a more pleasant place to live and work in.

However, the Approach 580 SIA Board is committed to ensuring that local residents also benefit as much as possible from the new job opportunities that will be created by companies investing in the area.

Initiatives will range from encouraging companies to 'shop local' for staff, to organising training courses in specific skills required by these companies.
